Level$ holds two different ways of looking at money. One person wants the history and the value behind every transaction: an export, categories, a way to trace a number back. The other wants a fast answer: over or under on shopping this month, over or under on dining out, without touching a bank export to get it. The app runs on a live Plaid sync, so that answer sits on screen instead of in a spreadsheet. Underneath, it runs its own budgeting calculations against each category's spend, so over or under for the month shows at a glance.
Built on Next.js and Supabase, with Plaid synced through both a webhook and a scheduled cron job, so a missed webhook doesn't leave a stale balance.
